Retail Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions don’t apply to resellers. If you are a reseller (wholesale customer), please check your wholesale line sheet for a copy of the ‘Terms & Conditions-Wholesale’. You may also contact the Customer Service team at cs@anuschkaleather.com for a copy.

When you receive an Anuschka Handbag as a gift or you purchase an Anuschka handbag for personal use or for the purpose of gifting it to someone else, you are considered a retail customer.


  1. Actual colors on the handbag may be slightly different from what you see on your computer monitor, smart phone, laptop screen or any device that you may be using to browse this website. Due to technological differences and how the colors are calibrated on the specific device by the user or the manufacturer, the colors as reflected by the device may not match that of the actual item.

  2. PAYMENT TERMS

    1. Payments may be made using VISA, MasterCard, Diners, Discover or American Express.
    2. No other form of payment is supported for any form of retail sale by ANUSCHKA.
    3. All payment charges will appear as Anuschka/The Basu Group, Inc.

  3. SHIPPING & HANDLING FOR ALL ORDERS

    1. Shipping and handling will be charged extra on all orders.
    2. All orders will be shipped using UPS/ FedEx.
    3. Shipping charges will be calculated automatically at check out.
    4. Please allow up to 3 weeks for all order deliveries. In the event of a back order, you will be notified via email.

  4. SALES TAX

    1. NJ Residents are subject to a 7% NJ Sales Tax.

  5. BACK ORDERS

    1. The customer acknowledges that The Basu Group, Inc. may take up to 6 weeks to deliver the item.

    2. The Basu Group, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the order.

    3. The Customer has the right to cancel the order prior to the item shipping.

    4. The Basu Group, Inc. will not charge the Customer's credit card till the item is ready to ship.

    5. Once an item is Back Ordered, the customer will enjoy the privilege of receiving the first available item in the order the back orders were received.

    6. All other terms and conditions apply. Please review all terms and conditions applicable with the use of this website and any purchase on this website.

    7. All terms and conditions are subject to change at the sole discretion of The Basu Group, Inc.

    8. Contact cs@anuschkaleather.com if you have additional questions on reserving / back ordering items which are temporarily out of stock.


  6. RETURNS

    1. Returns will be allowed only if requested within 30 days of original ship date.
    2. Prior to returning any item, customer must contact The Basu Group, Inc. by emailing cs@anuschkaleather.com or by calling 866.403.1314 / 908.517.9138 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Any return without RA # will not be processed and will be returned to the customer.
    3. After 30 days, items may be returned for exchange for equal or higher value for a period of 90 days from original ship date. RA# is still required.
    4. The item must be unused and returned with original packaging and a copy of the receipt in order for the return to be accepted.
    5. Customer is responsible for all freight charges. Shipping and handling is non-refundable.
    6. If the item is damaged due to improper packaging by the customer, the damaged item will be returned to the customer and the RA will be void.

  7. WARRANTY CLAIMS

    1. All items are covered under a limited warranty for one year from date of purchase.
    2. All Sale items are covered under a limited warranty for 30 days from date of purchase.
    3. Warranty is void without original receipt.
    4. Natural wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
    5. Warranty is void in the case of product abuse or extraordinary damages.
    6. The Basu Group, Inc. reserves the right to decide the validity of any claim.
    7. Return Authorization required for Warranty claims as well. See Return policy (5: b,c,d,e,f).
    8. Improper packaging when shipping, resulting in additional damage to the item will void the Warranty.



California Proposition 65 requires special product labeling for products containing certain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm if the product will expose the consumer to such chemicals. Lead levels in these products comply with FDA standards and are often less than common household items like electronics and even door knobs. California requires the following separate notice:
