WARRANTY POLICY

These policies apply to all of our brands: Anuschka, Anna by Anuschka, and Vanya Lara (The Basu Group, Inc.).

Quick Warranty Overview

We proudly stand behind our craftsmanship. Anuschka leather goods include a 1-year warranty (6 months for sale items), umbrellas are covered for 6 months, and accessories such as scarves, jewelry, and home goods for 30 days—all against manufacturing defects only.


Our Craftsmanship Promise

Each Anuschka piece is handcrafted by artisans in India, making every item one-of-a-kind. Natural variations in artwork, shading, and leather are part of the beauty of our products and not considered defects.


Warranty Coverage

Our warranty applies to manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, or soiling

  • Color transfer, stains, or weather-related damage

  • Pet damage

  • Improper use or storage

  • Lost or stolen items (including straps/handles)

  • Exposure to alcohol-based products (wipes, sanitizers, sprays)

  • Care Tip: While our Anuschka Leather Protector is not currently available, we recommend using a gentle leather protector (without alcohol, harsh chemicals or cleansing agents) and testing it on a small area first.


Warranty Periods

  • 👜 Leather Goods & Wanderlust Collection: 1 year (full price) | 6 months (sale/discounted)

  • Umbrellas: 6 months

  • 🧣 Scarves, Cuffs, Loungewear, Home Goods, Vanya Lara Jewelry: 30 days

  • Final Sale & Clearance (40%+ off): 30 days against defects


How to Start a Warranty Claim

To request a warranty review, please email hello@anuschkaleather.com with:

  • Photos of the issue (required)

  • Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice)

  • Style # or photos of the item (front & back)

  • Your name, address, and phone number

  • (Handbags & wallets only) The 5-digit inside seam code

We’ll respond in 3-5 business days. All claims are subject to inspection.


Repairs & Replacements

  • Eligible handbags/wallets may be repaired within the warranty period.

  • If an item cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement.

  • Customer covers shipping to us; Anuschka covers return shipping.

  • Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty.

  • Warranty applies only to items purchased from authorized retailers and is valid for the original owner.

Please note: We do not offer restoration services such as cleaning, repainting, or leather refurbishing.
