Who is Anuschka?

Anuschka is Roma’s creation. She loved the name Anuschka, but she had already named her three children Bhaskar, Radhika and Priyanka. When she decided to share her love for art through handbags, her newest child became Anuschka, meaning “like no other.”

What is Anna by Anuschka?

We created Anna by Anuschka almost 10 years ago as an affordable luxury collection. The Anna by Anuschka Collection is painted by our younger, up-and-coming artisans while our master artisans paint Anuschka. What is Vanya Lara?

Our newest addition to the collection is Vanya Lara, a line of hand-crafted jewelry made in Jaipur, India using traditional gemstone setting techniques honed over many decades. Each piece is carefully crafted with fine attention to detail and is built to last. Where and how are the Anuschka handbags made?

Anuschka bags are designed in USA by Bhaskar Basu. Bhaskar was taught by his mother, Roma, who continues to guide him today. They are then made in the family owned and operated workshop in India. Every Anuschka leather product starts with hand cutting the top grain leather and selecting the best pieces. Traditional crafters who have learned the trade from generations before them use old school techniques to create tailor made pieces. Every handbag goes through multiple stages of inspection by our quality team to ensure that the art is perfect. A family member does a final review of every bag before it is hand signed and packed. What type of leather is used to create an Anuschka product?

Anuschka handbags and wallets are crafted from high-quality, soft top-grain nappa leather that has been specially treated to function like a canvas for the distinctive Anuschka art designs. What is Vegetable Tanning?

Vegetable tanning is an intricate, traditional method of tanning leather dating back to approximately 6000 BC. It’s an organic method relying on natural vegetable tannins from bark and other plant tissues. Vegetable tanning is a time-consuming process requiring highly skilled craftsmen. This tanning is better for our environment and allows us to explore new forms of wearable art by incorporating paintings and tooling along with our classic hand paintings.  The resulting collection is a line of more structured leather bags with specially designed artwork.

What is tooled Leather?

We were inspired by ancient India tooling techniques passed on through generations. Exquisite hand-drawn motifs and embossed tooling showcase a gorgeous new addition to our collection.  We used our new Vegetable Tanned leathers to create these new arrivals.  The unique characteristics of this leather allow the tooling to look more defined and therefore, more beautiful.

How can I make sure I am purchasing a Genuine Anuschka product?

*Look for the white leather tag stitched to the lining of the bag with the Anuschka or Anna logo.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We are unable to change your order once it has been placed. If you want to cancel your unshipped order, please call us at 866.403.1314 or email us at hello@anuschkaleather.com.
Once an order has been sent to shipping, we are not able to cancel your order. 

How do I apply a discount code to my order?

To apply a discount code to your order, select CHECKOUT and enter/paste the code in the designated box located below your shopping bag. Please note that once your order has been placed, discount codes cannot be added. Additionally, offers cannot be combined or used with any other promotions, codes, or coupons. If you encounter any issues with the discount code, please refer to the Terms of the offer for exclusions.

Can multiple discount codes be used on one order?

What will it cost to ship my Anuschkaleather.com order?

Orders with a subtotal of $125 or more are eligible for free standard shipping and orders below $125 are eligible for $7.99 flat rate shipping to destinations in the contiguous United States. 

International orders are not eligible for free or flat rate shipping. The shipping rate, applicable duties, taxes, tariffs and value-added taxes (VAT) will be calculated upon Checkout. How do I check the status of my order?

You may check the status of your order by logging into your customer account or by following the View My Order link from your confirmation email. 

When can I expect my order to ship?

Most orders will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days of when the order was placed. Please note we do not ship on weekends or holidays. You will receive a shipment notification email including a tracking number when your order ships. When can I expect my order to arrive?

Your order's arrival date depends upon the shipping method and delivery location. Our warehouse is located in New Jersey and standard shipping times vary. 

How do I return a purchase from Anuschkaleather.com?

If you wish to return you new/unused product within 30 days of purchase (exclusions apply for sale items, please see our complete Return policy below), you may request a Return Authorization by emailing us at hello@anuschkaleather.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and a brief explanation for the return. Once your Return Authorization has been approved, you may send back the item using the provided instructions. Do you offer free returns in the US?

We can waive your return fee and issue your Refund to a Gift Card to be used towards your next Anuschkaleather.com order. Let us know if you would like take advantage of this offer simply by noting "Free Return" on your return request.

Can I exchange my Anuschkaleather.com purchase?

We do not offer exchanges. If you want to exchange your item, you may simply return your unused product within your return period for a refund and place a new order.

How do I create an account?

We now make it even easier to create an account to shop with Anuschkaleather.com. Click the MyAccount icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.You can now log in using your Facebook, Google, Amazon account, or create a new Anuschka account. It makes ordering safe, easy, and fast.It also allows you to track you order and receive updates on the newest styles and promotions. To participate in our Loyalty Rewards, you must create an Anuschka account.

How do I reset my password?

Select the forgot your password link on the sign in page under the My Account icon. Enter the email address for your account and hit submit. Check your email for a reset my password link. If you have not received an email, please be sure to check your junk or spam folders.

CARE INFORMATION

How do I care for my Anuschka leather products?

We highly recommend that you protect your Anuschka products from stains and extreme moisture to safeguard its hand-painted finish. Due to the hand-painted surface of the leather, you should avoid rubbing the leather against rough or sharp surfaces to minimize scratching. If you get your leather product wet, wipe the liquid immediately and pat to dry with a soft cloth, then allow it to dry naturally. We only recommend using the Anuschka Leather Protector to preserve the colors, and suppleness of the leather. Use of other leather care products could damage the painted surface. Our leather products are treated after creation for durability and protection. However, please be aware that it is natural for leather to transform slightly in color when exposed to the elements.

Why should I use the Anuschka Leather Protector?

Our leather protector is a proprietary formula created to protect the surface of your hand-painted leather handbags or wallets. It can also be used to protect your other fine leathers, such as footwear or jackets. Please note that other leather care products are not designed for hand-painted surfaces and could cause serious damage to your painted Anuschka product.

How do I remove stains from my Anuschka leather products?

Given the delicate nature of the painting, we do not recommend using any chemicals to treat stains on the painted surface. You can lightly pat with a soft damp cloth, never rub the hand-painted surface.

How do I care for my other Anuschka products?

Vanya Lara Jewelry: Please remove when swimming, showering, bathing, or using creams and lotions. Store in provided care bag when not in use.

Wanderlust:
Wipe clean with soft damp cloth. Please do not use chemicals or cleaning sprays/wipes on the fabric. 

Rainboots: To clean we recommend you handwash the exterior of your boots with mild soap and water and let them dry naturally in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Our beautiful classic rainboots are just what you need for those wet days outdoors, but please do not store or dry them in direct sunlight. Over-exposure to sunlight can cause the boots to become dry and brittle, as well as cause discoloration.  

Umbrellas: Simply shake off excess water and let dry naturally. Do not store in direct sunlight.  

Eye Masks: Hand wash gently in cold water only using a drop of mild soup, do not wring, and lay flat to dry. 

Face Masks: Wash in warm water and hang to dry. 

Scarves: Handwash in cool water with mild soap and hang to dry.  

Blankets/Throws/Towels: Machine wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. 

Mango Wood Home Goods Products:
Our bowls are certified as food safe, and our Charcuterie/Cutting boards are suitable for both chopping fruits and vegetables as well as displaying charcuterie. To ensure their longevity and pristine condition, follow these care instructions: 

  1. Hand wash with mild soap and a gentle cloth or sponge, then promptly dry. Avoid using harsh or abrasive detergents.
  2. Please note that these Home Goods items are not heat-resistant, and while they are water-resistant, they should not be soaked or placed in a dishwasher.
  3. As needed, apply food-safe mineral oil to our wooden products to maintain their luster and durability.  

WARRANTY

What is the warranty policy?

Our warranty provides coverage exclusively for manufacturing defects and does not extend to damages resulting from everyday wear and tear, negligence, cuts, scrapes, or accidents. Kindly note that using cleaners, wipes, sanitizers, or sprays may cause damage our products and invalidate the warranty. To ensure that our hand-painted leather products remain scratch-free, we suggest avoiding contact with rough or sharp surfaces. Can I get my Anuschka refurbished?

Unfortunately, we do not offer these services. We are only able to offer repair services for items with manufacturer’s defects under the warranty period.

How well do Anuschka and Anna by Anuschka Hand-painted Leather Products hold up?

All of our hand-painted leather goods are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in India, resulting in each item being unique. The artwork, colors and shading may vary slightly. Small imperfections and creases in the leather and painting are completely normal. Differences in color and feel are features of beautiful quality leather products and as the leather ages it will soften, acquire a patina, and may also darken due to the oils from your skin and direct sunlight, further enhancing the natural look of your leather products.

What payments methods are accepted at checkout?

In the US, we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Afterpay and Shop Pay.

For International orders we accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay & Google Pay. 

How do I use installments with Afterpay or Shop Pay

Just select Afterpay or Shop Pay as your form of payment at checkout. Choose and you will be taken to their site to complete your order. All you will need is a credit or debit card to apply. Afterpay or Shop Pay will immediately review and approve your purchase. There are no credit checks involved.

Great news! There is no expiration date for your purchased e-Gift Card. 

(Exceptions include promotional e-Gift cards & e-Gift cards issued with returns, expiry date is listed in email sent with gift card.)

How Do I Participate in Your Loyalty Rewards Program?

To join the program, just click “Create a store account” on the REWARDS tab. Once you have done it, you can start earning points immediately.

How can I earn points?

You can earn points by completing actions listed in REWARDS tab. Just click on REWARDS tab on the left, click on "Learn More" and then select "Earn Points" to review the different ways to earn points. Note: If you are already a Rewards Program member, you can simply go to the REWARDS tab and click on "Earn Points" to review the available actions.

How can I spend my points?

Please make sure you are signed in to your Anuschka account, Then, click on the “Rewards” tab and choose Get Rewards, select Redeem and Copy discount, after checkout, Paste your discount code into the indicated box. This can also be done during check out. To maximize your rewards, choose Flexible rewards and choose the amount you would like to redeem.

Can I combine coupons and points?

You may not combine your rewards points with any other promotion or coupon. 

When will my points expire?

All points are valid for 365 days from the day they were credited to you. 

Can you reset my Expired Points?

Your points are valid for 365 days from the day they were credited to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to restore them once they expire.

Can I transfer my points to someone else?

No, points may not be transferred.
